Ronkonkoma, NY — March 1, 2026 — Techworks Consulting, Inc., a leading managed IT and cybersecurity services provider, today announced the appointment of Sherri Anderson as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Anderson joins Techworks as the company enters its next phase of growth, focused on operational excellence, scalability, and continued client success.

Sherri brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across IT operations, service delivery, infrastructure, and program management. Most recently, she served as Director of Infrastructure Services and Management at Northwell Health, where she led large, cross-functional teams supporting tens of thousands of end users and complex enterprise environments.

Her expertise includes building and operationalizing KPIs and SLAs, establishing governance and standardized processes, and leading enterprise integrations and large-scale organizational change initiatives. Equally important, she is known for her people-first, pragmatic leadership approach.

As COO, Sherri will focus on driving execution across the organization, enhancing operational consistency, enabling leadership teams, and ensuring alignment between Techworks’ long-term vision and day-to-day operations. She will work closely with company leadership, department heads, and teams to support sustainable, healthy growth.

TechWorks Consulting, Inc. is proud to announce the latest milestone in its Techworks Gives Back "Tech for Good" program, an ongoing initiative dedicated to supporting nonprofits and the Long Island community by providing technology resources they might otherwise go without.

As part of this effort, Techworks refurbished 10 laptops previously donated by Sachem Public Library, and delivered them to Options for Community Living, a nonprofit organization that provides housing, support services, and care coordination for individuals and families living with mental illness, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic health conditions. These laptops will help Options for Community Living further its mission of empowering people to achieve stability, improved health, and independence.

The Techworks Gives Back program was created to bridge the technology gap for nonprofits that often face budget constraints. By repurposing gently used laptops and desktops, TechWorks ensures these organizations have access to reliable technology— critical for communication, education, and service delivery.

AHRC Program Participant Joins Techworks Consulting for a Day of Technical Training!

Ronkonkoma, NY – Techworks is proud to announce a successful collaboration with AHRC Suffolk, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. On Friday, June 14th, we welcomed an enthusiastic program participant from AHRC to our office for a unique, hands-on experience. 

Under the guidance of one of our senior technicians, Chris Baio, our visiting participant engaged in a one-on-one session to prepare a refurbished computer for donation. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the community and promote digital inclusion.

The refurbished computers, equipped with the latest software and fully serviced by our expert team, will be donated through our Techworks Gives Back “Tech for Good” charity initiative, where we help provide local schools/nonprofits with technology.

“We believe in the power of technology has to transform lives,” stated Connor Robertson, Business Development Strategist, who helped arranged the day. “We are honored to partner with AHRC and look forward to future opportunities to make a difference together.”
